A Wedding For Christmas

There is a reason they call it the most wonderful time of the year…

5 REASONS TO HAVE A CHRISTMAS WEDDING

1.

Guest List

A wonderful reason to host your wedding over the festive period is your guests are more likely to be off work! Most people take a couple of weeks off around Christmas, the perfect time to get together all those people you can’t be wed without. You can also save an extra bundle by tying the knot on weekday, without the worry of these guests being able to attend.

(Everyone is also in very high spirits with it being the season of joy after all!)

2.

Unique!

We do get beautiful weddings around Christmas time, but more often than not you’re invited to summer weddings. This is the more common season to wed. This means you of course have more couples to compete with for a date, including competing to secure your dream suppliers. Lessen the stress by making that festive leap. Guests will be talking about your wonderful festive wedding well into the new year, it may well be like nothing they have ever attended!

3.

Weather

Yes you read that correctly! When securing a winter wedding couples tend to focus their styling and day inside, this means that no matter what happens with the British weather you will be prepared and un-phased. No need to helplessly wish for sunshine on your summer wedding when you’re already completely preapred! A sprinkle of snow is always a treat for wedding photography too – See Luke and Rebecca’s incredible winter wedding.

4.

Mulled wine, pine cones and wrap arounds

Picture it, waking up in our pre-bridal suite to a crisp winter morning over the frosted countryside. With golden rays twinkling off the crunchy grass.

Make the day completely seasonal, mulled wine for your reception drinks warms your guests and gets you in that cosy winter spirit. The venue dressed for Christmas with fairy lights and trees adds to the atmosphere, also making a beautiful backdrop. Don’t think you’ll be contained indoors, we have a sheltered terrace with fire pits and blankets. Perfect to cosy up with your bridesmaids with a glass of fizz for a moments rest from the party indoors.

5.

Romantic evenings…

The night roles in sooner in winter, therefore you can start the party early! Set the atmosphere with tea lights, lanterns, fairy lights and wreaths. A beautiful stroll in the moonlight for those incredible photos doesn’t have to be late in winter either, you therefore don’t have to miss out on the party with your evening guests.
