1. Say Hello!

The first thing to do is of course, get in touch with us! You can drop us an email toweddings@thewhitehartmoorwoodmoor.co.uk or give us a call on 01629 534888.

To make it as easy as possible, it’s good to include a few ideas for dates for your day, or just a general year and season will do.Then we can check availability and offer alternative dates if they’re not available. If you have ideas of numbers for your ceremony and reception, it’s great to include these too but don’t worry if not, you can always finalise these later on.

2. Take a Look Around

The best way to get a feel for the venue if of course, is to pay us a visit. We are very flexible with availability for wedding showarounds and we will find a time that suits you and your partner. At your show around, you can explore the venue and the grounds in detail as well as chatting to a member of our team in a little more detail about your big day. One of our favourite things to do is to get to know you as a couple so we can ensure your wedding day is perfectly suited to you.

3. Secure Your Date

If you’ve looked around and you like what you see, then you can provisionally hold your date! You can provisionally hold a date for 10 days free of charge. You can then pay your deposit at any point at any point in those 10 days to officially book your wedding!

5. Meet Your Co-ordinator

In October/November every year, we split the weddings for the following year amongst our co-ordinators. Shortly after this you will be contacted by your co-ordinator to say hello (if different to the person who showed you round originally).

You can then arrange a suitable time for your initial pre-wedding meeting. Of course, you can then contact your co-ordinator anytime to discuss any questions or queries. Your co-ordinator is there for you throughout the build up and right up to the day of your wedding. Nothing is too big or small to speak to them about and they will do everything possible to ensure you have the perfect experience.

6. Final Preparations

In the weeks leading up to your wedding day, your co-ordinator will arrange a final meeting to discuss all the finer details of the day. This is your opportunity to let us know of any important things to make sure your day runs totally smoothly. You will also fill in your bedroom sheet for our hotel rooms and give us a final seating plan including any dietary requirements.

You should leave this meeting feeling calm and ready for your day! Your co-ordinator can sort the final details so you can focus on getting excited.

7. THE WEDDING DAY

And finally! It’s your special day. All the planning and preparations will be worth it when you finally say ‘I Do’ and enjoy your special day with your loved ones. Throughout the day your co-ordinator will make sure it runs to schedule. Our team will make sure your guests are well looked after so you can simply take it all in.

At the end of the night, you can make your way to our bespoke bedrooms and reflect on your special day before enjoying breakfast with us the following morning.
