We’re delighted to welcome you to our classic country inn with a twist. Renovated in 2013, we’ve transformed The White Hart into a picturesque countryside wedding venue, alongside our revamped dining experience at The Fork & Furrow restaurant, completed in April 2023.

ROOM INFORMATION
Breakfast is served in our restaurant, there is no need to book a table just pop down when you are ready and we will show you where to sit.
The opening times for breakfast are as follows:
Monday: 8am until 9am
Tuesday to Friday: 7am until 9am
Saturday & Sunday: 8am until 10am
Our restaurant, The Fork & Furrow, serves a selection of modern pub dishes created by our talented chef team, using local ingredients.
We also have range of wines, contemporary cocktails and more.
Book a table by calling reception on 220 or 221.
Opening hours for lunch and dinner services are as follows:
Monday to Friday
Lunch 12pm until 3.30pm | Evening 5pm until 8.30pm
Saturday
12pm until 8.30pm
Sunday
12pm until 5.30pm
Your key card will unlock your room and also the main reception doors if your are returning to the hotel after 9pm.
Please return your key card to reception upon check out. Misplaced key cards will incur a £5 charge.

We have a no smoking indoors policy throughout the whole building, including hotel rooms. Damage caused or extra cleaning required as a result of smoking will be charged at a minimum of £100.

Please refrain from vaping indoors also as this will set off the fire alarm.

Please take of our venue, you are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you may cause to the property or its content. Please report any damage as soon as it occurs.

We do not normally charge for minor breakage/damage however we will invoice for repair if the damage results in a significant cost to us. This also includes extra cleaning costs and loss of revenue if we are unable to re-let your room the night following your stay.

The latest addition to the hotel group.The Canal Inn was refurbished in late 2022. This traditional pub brew their own ales in a cosy setting.

Power Button must have the green light on to work, if you need to turn it off just press again until the green light goes off.
To change from heating to air con (or vice versa) press the function button to get to your preferred function.
At this point you can change the temperature by using the circular button up and down arrows.
Please note if heating the room we recommend the minimum temperature to be 25°c to start with in order for the system to heat the room sufficiently.
Please allow 20-30mins for the heating to kick in, so please allow this time to pass. You can decrease the temp again if you wish.
Once the room is at the preferred temperature the system will stop but restart once the temperature drops or changes.
To change the fan speed, press the “Fan Speed” button (bottom left button next to central circular button) on the panel and use the circular button to increase or decrease the speed
The button in the centre is a return button that will take you back to the main screen, please press this button once amendments have been made.

In the case of a fire, your room alarm will be activated and you will be asked to leave the building using the nearest fire exit.
Please do so as quickly as possible and head towards the fire assembly appoint which are located either in front or rear car parks.
Once there please await further instruction from a member of staff.
